I need a tutor to help me write an analysis essay on the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell. Im finding it challenging to prepare my arguments and dividing the story into describable parts for my analysis. Id appreciate an essay outline highlighting the arrangement of these elements.
1984 is a classic of the dystopia genre, having influenced many of the sayings in todays culture. I understand Im supposed to write about its multiple themes, such as Orwells portrayal of surveillance, nationalism, futurology, and censorship. Still, the twist is describing them from my perspective and interpretations. But given the books popularity, how do I express an original view on its stories and theories, one not influenced by others?Â
The novel was a prediction of its writer; he believed that the British democracy would end following World War II. But his prophecy turned out untrue, with the nation surviving the war and still maintaining its identity. Desp
ite its predictions failing in his era, there are multiple parallels in Nineteen Eighty-Four that holds in todays society. Do I have to state some of these similarities with past and present societies?Â
When discussing some of the books symbolism, would the never seen Big Brother qualify as a symbolic element? Describing him is complex as we never got much information on him as a person.Â
Theres a theory that he never really existed in the books universe but served as an instrument of belief for the citizens of Oceania. With the human need to live and believe in a being, creating the Big Brother persona helped the government keep people under control. If he served as a symbol in the book, would it still apply to real life?
Do I have to mention the books influence on society, such as the use of Big Brother, Room 101, and Newspeak? And if its appropriate, where would I place such information? Im hoping your outline would point me in the right direction.
