This essay is called the Problem Essay where my teacher wants us to find a serious problem in our career. My major is Nursing and the major problem is The nursing shortage.. I already picked the topics I wanted you to discuss about. Those are:
-tight schedule for nurses/staff shortage
-High stress environment
-nurse burnout
-retiring nurses that leave position
-nursing school bullying
-limited supply of new nurses..
( if u have any other ones you can discuss about you can write about it as well anything that will make the reader see this as a huge problem).
He wants to focus the essay more on the effects of the problem rather than the cause of the problem. Everything needs to be in MLA format (even the evidence!!) The use of ETHOS LOGOS AND PATHOS needs to be added and labeled as well(you can them in parenthesis). If you could also establish and (label) the credibility it could help too. If not I will edit it on afterwards.
Introduction paragraph: I added a image that is labeled as Parts of an introduction paragraph, and Introductions he is very
picky about how we start our introduction and wants me to use one of the openers he provided. (He wants it in order of A.opener B.bridge C.thesis)
Transitions: Use strong transitions (I will be adding a picture of the transitions he showed)
Body paragraphs: I will be adding an image with the Paragraph Organization of how he wants every paragraph (besides the intro and conclusion) to be written.
Citations PLEASE!!!: They need to be flawless, he looks at this very carefully. All research needs to be quoted. The quoting, summarizing and paraphrasing need to be perfect. He wants to see the citing of everything properly.
Conclusion: They need to summarize each main point, one sentence for each and every main point that was made.
I know it seems like a lot but its very specific and I wanted to give clear instructions. I will be glued to my phone in case you have any questions. It is my last essay for that being it needs to be really good. Last time whoever wrote one of my essays in here had so many grammatical errors so I am really hoping you can help me. Thank you.
