You have been hired as a consultant by a strawberry farmer. After being awarded the contract, you receive the following letter.
From: Morgan Hill Berry Growers
Please advise us on which company to use as our strawberry distributor. Four highly recommended distributors have provided us with statistical data on the weekly prices for one load of strawberries per week for a ten-week period last year. Prices fluctuate according to availability, and we would like to use the company with the lowest overall price and the least amount of fluctuation. We would like your written report showing your results and a detailed recommendation as to which company we should choose.

You must type in and analyze all data for EACH company. Use either MS Excel or Calculator.
Task 1:
Create classes that will work for ALL FOUR companies. This is IMPERATIVE for the comparison of the prices. You MUST have at least six classes that are evenly spaced. The classes first class should be $290-299,Β
For the last class, you can have 360 as the upper limit
Create a frequency distribution along with the relative frequency or percent frequency chart.
Task 2:
For each company, find mean, median, mode, standard deviation, range.
Decide what you would like to compare side by side. Mean? Median? Mode? Standard Deviation? Range? All? Some? Which ones will best support your conclusions in the next step.
Task 3:
Type up a report in response to the request from Morgan Hill Berry Growers answering their request. Justify your recommendation in detail, you can use any charts to support your findings.
