**** the comment below is my professor response to the previouse paper written, so i hopw this information is useful for you to rewrite a better version of this paper ****
Unfortunately, this paper missed the mark in terms of answering the essay prompt. You were asked to choose three literary devices from a list of five and analyze how the author utilized those devices to develop the storys theme. Although you have a few passing references to devices such as point of view and setting, you needed to go further with your analysis and provide spe
cific examples of how they were used. For any essay, it is important that you begin by establishing a clear main idea (thesis statement) in your intro paragraph. For this particular assignment, an effective introduction would state: a) the title and authors full name of the story you are analyzing b) a brief summary of the storys theme c) how the literary devices you have chosen to explore help develop the storys theme The body of your paper should be spent proving your thesis statement to be true through original observations and support from the source material in the form of specific examples and direct quotes. Please review my notes in the margin and the rubric for additional feedback. If you are unclear about anything, please let me know so that I can help you improve.
I will provide the link for you to the short story so you can read it and help better you.
