allows a teacher to determine students’ individual strengths, weaknesses, and knowledge and skills prior to instruction. What trends do you notice? 4. Suggested remediation: Choose at least three reading remediation strategies to improve the students’ weaknesses as described in the analysis. These 3 strategies can all address the same weakness (ex. Vocabulary), or you can provide one strategy for 3 different weaknesses (ex. Vocabulary, Comprehension, Fluency). Please note that for each strategy, you will need to provide a citation/reference to show that the strategy is research/evidence based. You may use the course text, course articles, or other readings to select your strategies. 5. Reference page: Complete a reference page in APA format including all references listed in the paper. Note: This may be one reference (ex. Literacy in the 21st Century by Tompkins) if all of your strategies chosen are found in this text, or there may be multiple references, if you have chosen strategies referenced in course articles or other texts.
