WRITE A 150 word blog about the most influential event in American history from 1900-1946. Do a little Googling if your history education isnt what it should be. Really think about this question. Try to take yourself out of yourself what I mean by that is not what makes it the most influential to you, personally, but what event most shaped this nation? WRITE A 125 word blog response to the music from A Wagner Matinee. Take a few minutes and listen to this version of Prize Song. The whole thing is less than 5 minutes (two minutes should give you the idea), and I know you wont love the opera, but take a few and just enjoy the power of the music. This is the piece that Aunt Georgiana loved so much. Also, take a few minutes and listen to this version of Siegfrieds Funeral March (the conductors hairdo is worth looking at the video) It is easy to see why Aunt Georgiana would have been so moved and would have missed this so very much. What do you think about the music? Do you think the power of the music makes your sympathize with Aunt Georgiana more? Does this story remind you of another one we have read?

WRITE A 150 word blog responding to the poem. How did it impact you? Does it remind you of something or point out a truth that you have forgotten to remember? Why do you think Frosts poetry has endured and still speaks to people, even in such a modern and technological time? A lot of Frosts poetry deals with reconnecting with each other or nature. It addresses separation and alleviating separation. Think about that as you write.
