For this assignment, you will need to choose a topic related to personality (use your textbook and lecture notes to get ideas). For example, your topic can be focused on a theory of personality (e.g., psychoanalytic, humanistic, etc.), personality trait (e.g., introversion), or factor that influences personality (e.g., culture, social media, family, etc.). You will then search for a relevant and related article on the Psychology Today website (www.psychologytoday.com). You must select one article to read in its entirety and submit a TYPED paper that covers the following:
1) What topic you have chosen & why
2) Summarize the main ideas of the article using your own words
3) Your reaction to the article (i.e., feelings, thoughts, critiques, etc.).
4) What did you learn that you did not already know? What surprised you the most?
Your paper should clearly refer to the specific article that was read, INCLUDING the title of the article, name of author, date of
publication, and LINK from the Psychology Today website (for example,http://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/200910/big-bad-bully). (you can submit it sooner if youΒd like).

In order to receive full credit, PAPERS MUST:
-be typed, doubled-spaced
-be a minimum of 2 full pages of text (i.e., headings, cover sheet, works cited, etc. do NOT count towards page count)
-use 12-point Times New Roman font
-be grammatically correct& free from spelling errors
-be clearly written, utilizing the structure provided above
-completely and thoughtfully answer/address each question or domain
-be written in your own words
-include a separate Cover Sheet with your name & article topic
-include a Works Cited Page
-be turned in on time
-be submitted on Canvas as an attachment (.doc, .docx, or .pdf only)
